January 30th will be the next scrip order.  Place your order on line at www.glscrip.com or drop off order form and check to Wendy Kane or Karyn Frank by January 29.  The cards will be available for delivery Wednesday Feb 1st.  Remember this is a fundraiser that cost you nothing.  You get exactly what you pay for.  Please support the team!

It’s a new year and time to start up with the scrip program for 2012.  We will be placing orders twice a month, on the 15th and the 30th.  You will receive your card(s) 2 days after the order is placed.  Remember, this costs you nothing - whatever value you purchase in cards is the value you receive.  RFH Crew receives a percentage on every card.  Since last November, we had about 10 families participate and we made over  $600 for the team. That $600 that was free, no one had to write a check as a donation or participate in a drive.

 We hope that by now you have visited the scrip site and signed up your family.   If we have 100% participation and you purchase cards to do your grocery shopping, pay for gas, entertainment and gifts, we can potentially make thousands and thousands of dollars in a year.  That could be a new boat!  Let’s all work together to make this goal happen.

 Directions are as follows: go to   www.shopwithscrip.com  and create a family account.  When asked for the RFH Crew enrollment number, please put in BB72AAE93L498.

 Once your account is set up, you can start placing orders.  You may pay for your orders two ways. 

1. Drop a check to Wendy Kane or Karyn Frank after you have done your order online and before the order date (15th or 30th).

2.  Sign up for and pay through presto pay.  This takes a day or two to activate but is so easy, no checks needed.

Dear RFH Crew Parents,

We will be placing another Scrip order on Thursday, December 1st.  Orders can be placed by either using the attached printable order form or by ordering online.  If you plan to use the paper order form, please drop your form and check off to Karyn at 19 McCarter Ave. in Fair Haven by 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.  If you’d rather submit your order online, simply create a family login and place your order at www.shopwithscrip.com.  Once you enter your information, it will ask for our enrollment code which is BB72AAE93L498.  Once this is done, you can place an order that goes right to your RFH Crew ‘Scrip’ team.  You just need to get us a check by December 1st for the total amount if you are not using PrestoPay. 

PrestoPay is very easy to set up and allows funds to be withdrawn from your bank account thereby eliminating the need to write a check.  PrestoPay also enables you to instantly refill gift cards and to place orders on ScripNow.   With ScripNow you can place an order at any time with retailers that are engaged in scrip now, like Lowes, Home Depot, Sears and in five minutes receive an eCard that you can use to pay for purchases online or in stores.  You can also email a gift card with a personal message to anyone by using ScripNow. Karyn used scripnow ( and is on Presto Pay) on Thanksgiving for an online purchase she didn’t plan on making, she made $20 for the crew team by checking the site.

Please check out the website and set up an account if you haven’t done so already.  There are so many great retailers, many of which you probably use every week.  Don’t forget about teacher gifts and stocking stuffers!!

A couple additional things we missed in the previous post:

-       Today’s order can be done using the form attached to yesterday’s letter and dropped off to Karyn with a check if you prefer.  You do not have to place the order online.

-       There will be additional opportunities to by cards in December.  Following is our planned schedule:

If you missed last night’s meeting, here is a recap about the scrip program that was introduced.  You received a packet yesterday via email explaining the details.  I will just highlight a few things as we are placing an order tonight for those of you who are Black Friday shoppers.

Please go to www.shopwithscrip.com  and create a family login, you will be asked information about yourself before it asks for a enrollment code for RFH Crew.  The enrollment code is BB72AAE93L498.  Once you are enrolled, you can do your ordering right from your computer and just drop a check to me at 19 McCarter Avenue by 7 tonight if you want gift cards to shop with on Black Friday.  To make it even easier in the future, you can sign up for PRESTO PAY while you are on this page.  Presto Pay allows you to put in your checking account information and create an account for future orders.  This will keep it paperless and require less running around for all.  Just keep in mind we need a paper check for the first order as it takes 2-3 days to set up Presto Pay.

We have the potential to makes thousands of dollars and it will not cost you a penny.  Remember, you pay face value and you receive face value of the card.  Do your grocery shopping, pay for your gas, movie tickets (which are at a discount).  Don’t forget holiday shopping, teacher gifts, and stocking stuffers.

Tomorrow night we will be holding our last parents’ meeting of the year.  Topics for discussion will be winter conditioning as well as a recap of the Fall season and fundraising efforts.  For those of you who did not have a child in the fall program, we understand that this is short notice but we hope that you will be able attend.  The meeting will be held in the Fair Haven Youth Center at 35 Fisk St (behind the police station) at 7:30 pm.  We hope to see you there!
